· Water pH:  Potential hydrogen (pH) automatic control is important for sanitation to work properly. For chlorine pools the ph needs to be maintained between 7.4 and 7.8. For alternative sanitizers like ionization 6.8 to 7.2 is appropriate. Any sanitizing technology will not work if the pH is not properly controlled.
